12 Months Old
Happy 1st Birthday, Marcus!
Marcus started his birthday with a little gift opening before school.
Big brother, Owen, had to show him how the gift opening worked. Marcus was more excited to play with the gift wrap than his actual gift, but oh well, at least he was enjoying it.
Later, after school, Marcus quickly became accustomed to unwrapping gifts.
He got quite good at it!
It was fun to share in the enjoyment of new toys.
Marcus seemed particularly excited to get his very own lawn mower. For whatever reason, the Kuder boys love their mowers. This spring Marcus will be able to join in the mowing fun.
Mommy went a little crazy with party decorations, but I thought Marcus' first birthday should be a day to remember.
We celebrated with cake and ice cream with our neighbors and had a really fun time. Marcus was more interested in grabbing his candle than blowing it out. Oh well.
Marcus really enjoyed eating his birthday cake. Our chunky, little monkey is one!

Full of Play
Still can't get over how quickly Marcus has adjust to his new crawling/moving freedom. He gets around and is fascinated with all the new stuff he can get into.
The fridge toys are a lot of fun.
And moving chairs and furniture around is so exciting. Marcus is such a cutie.

Pulling Up
Well it didn't take very long for Marcus to figure out how to pull himself up on his feet. He is so proud of himself for accomplishing this.

Chatting with Daddy
Marcus doesn't really "chill" much, but when he does it is the cutest thing. He and Daddy were enjoying some time on the couch together.

Go Marcus, Go!
Marcus is really on the move...crawling everywhere. His curiosity doesn't go far beyond the kitchen and family room, but he likes his new found freedom.
