Three Months Old

Marcus is so full of smiles these days and he will give them to me so willingly. All I have to do is smile at him and he smiles back. There is nothing more heart warming than to get a Marcus smile. He really is a happy baby. He is cooing and babbling quite often. He seems to enjoy little conversations and chimes in with his own comments.

Milestones:

• Grasping at things more and more. He does not seem to reach for toys quite yet, but he will grab my shirt or his blanket. He will hold on to objects put into his hands for a brief period.
• He is quite good at finding his hand and sucking on his fingers. Marcus has never taken a pacifier (and that’s not because we didn’t try). He is rarely fussy, so that may have to do with never needing a pacifier.
• Sleeping in longer stretches at night. He can last as long as 6 or 7 hours straight, which is great. Since he goes to bed early, like his brother, the 2 a.m. wake up is still a bit tough for momma. It IS nice that he does not need to eat every 3 hours at night.
• He is holding his head steady if he’s sitting in the swing or bouncy chair. Marcus is getting closer and closer to completely holding his head up on his own.

Growing too Fast

Marcus seems to be growing too fast. It seems like I am constantly have to pull out larger size clothes for him to wear. I swear there are some things that he hasn't even gotten a chance to wear more than once! These adorable overalls are one of those things.

Marcus Meets Grandpa Kuder

Grandma and Grandpa Kuder are here for a short visit and this was the first time that Grandpa Kuder has meet Marcus.Their first introduction didn't go so smoothly.

But after eating and a nice nap Marcus was more interested in meeting his grandfather.

Lounging in Mommy & Daddy's Bed

Both of our boys seem to enjoy getting into our bed. Marcus is so playful and giddy to be there. I hope we're not creating a bad habit with this.

My Angel Baby

I am constantly calling Marcus my angel baby. He really is such a great baby. Rarely fusses. And how can you NOT love that face!?!

Happy Father's Day

Daddy celebrated his first Father's Day with two sons. He got a few gifts...and he actually requested a little photo album to take in to work to show off.

Mommy and Marcus Day

My maternity leave is quickly coming to an end and my time alone with Marcus seems so precious. Owen has been at daycare two days a week during my leave, and those days are my bonding days with Marcus. He is such an easy baby and we spend a lot of our time just hanging out on the couch together giving each other googly eyes and talking in babbles.

Perfection

Marcus is getting some love from his big brother. Aren't they the cutest? This photo is going on my desk at work.

Wagon Brothers

Marcus and Owen fit perfectly into our wagon. They love rides around the neighborhood.

All Smiles

Marcus is giving me the best smiles. They just melt my heart like nothing in the world. So cute and full of innocence.

Marcus has been spending time in the colorful, little play yard. He gets wide-eye and interested in looking at everything, but he's not grabbing at anything yet.

Sleeping in His Crib

Marcus has finally moved into his room and in the big crib. He spent his first night there last night. Daddy and I no longer have him sleeping in our room. It has been a little strange not hearing all his little noises (and the loud farts that he passes) during the night.

Chillin' Outside

Marcus loves being outside. He also loves his bouncy chair. So I thought, hey, why not take his bouncy chair outside so he can have the best of both worlds!
I just love his silly faces. I can't seem to get enough of this kid!

Napping Buddies

Grandpa and Marcus took a little snooze together.

I can't say enough how Marcus is such a good baby. He only fusses when he needs something. He's a good eater and sleeper. And he's just so darn cute! Here he feel asleep on my chest after nursing. It doesn't get much better than having a baby asleep on your chest!
